• Request Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from two teachers ASAP; good teachers to ask are those you had junior or sophomore year who taught a core subject, or a teacher who watched you struggle and work hard to earn a good grade
• Create your Common App account using a Gmail account — do NOT use your high school email account. Many colleges request this as they cannot penetrate your high school’s spam filters.
